I have been doing horse show photography for 20+ years, started as a hobby but my love for horses and people has made this into a business. I have had several photos in Horse Classic Desk Appt Calendars since 1999, I have one in the 2007 calendars and (6) up for review in 2008.
My love for taking pictures of animals has been wonderful as I wait for that perfect shot such as ears up, tails not wagging, perfect background. My patience pays off as I am able to get the ideal photo - time is not an issue when waiting for the memorable shot. I love to meet new people and their animals - I have the perfect job!
I have been Linda Connors photographer for 15+ years. I cover all of her Challenge Series Shows, Gallop-on Show and Labor Day weekend Lake Placid Shows. I use film and send out color contacts for proofs, I don't do digital and only do outdoor shows. I keep my prices reasonable, so riders can afford their pictures and get orders out asap My friends call me *Neanderthal Annie* as I don't have a computer! My other hobby is making Potholders, I started this for a friend's craft show and now I am hooked! I have every thing from Alligators to Zebras and everything in between (picture attached) - they sell for $3.00+tax.
