CHEVAL STABLES OPEN HORSESHOW SERIES (AUGUST 12)

Cheval Stables Open
Horseshow Series in Marion, New York held their 2nd show of a 3 show
series with a picture perfect day! The last show of 2007 is September
23rd with Wendi Snook-Casper as our judge.
Our show officials for August 12th were: James Maroney (Judge);
Tyler Baker (Ringmaster); ML Yuskiewicz (Announcer);
Toni & Tricia Poormon (Entries); Pat Hutchinson (Hi-Score);
Dick Smock & David Poormon (Cooks); Ashley & Jenna Anselmo
(Ribbons) and Fairville Fire Dept (Water for Ring).
We acquired (2) NEW sponsors: Intercept Security/Gary Rossi
(please see their business card ad) and Equine Sports Therapy/Sue
Weigman. Thank you to you and all of our sponsors; we could never do
what we do without you.
Our judge James Maroney had a few words to say about Cheval, in his own
words: "It's so much fun to judge at Cheval Stables. The staff is
friendly, efficient and flexible. Everyone is helpful, considerate and
the indoor/outdoor rings are large and safe. The owners (David/Toni
Poormon) are wonderful and very attentive to their customers needs. The
setting is classic Finger Lakes nature at its best (I love the hardwoods
ablaze in the fall - extremely impressive)."
Of course, we had our Famous Dog Costume Class……….See photo below (4)
exhibitors came (3) in their birthday suit………..from left to right: Liza,
Bandit, Deisel and Chester. Each received a blue ribbon and dog treats.
September 23rd is our year-end awards show, all of our division sponsors
will be in attendance for their presentation: Intercept Security;
Portraits by Pamela; Blue Seal Feed, Fox Meadow Farm. Our photographer
Anne Clapper will be looking for that perfect *Front Cover* shot - will
it be yours?
Please remember, Cheval has a 72x140 Indoor Arena, stalls available,
100x300 outdoor arena, plenty of parking, concessions and vendors on
grounds and best of all, they will be presenting a check to the Humane
Society of Wayne County to help in the care of homeless animals.
